Flavouring of snacks and croutons
 
Snacks, biscuits, croutons are flavoured in many guises to suit diverse taste and consumption habits.

The flavour is provided in form of a solution (usually oil based), a slurry (a suspension of powder in oil) or a powder (with a maltodextrine and salt carrier).

It is dispersed uniformly on the product surface while the products are gently transferred.

It typically applies to small, brittle and fragile items as apperitive biscuits or croutons for soups or salads.
